Day 19 (4 days down 6 to go)

Today is day 19 of our adventures here in Ukraine. It is hard to believe that on Friday I will be here 3 weeks. On Thursday my roommate will be leaving early to catch a flight to Kiev where she can finish her Embassy stuff and she hopes to leave by Saturday so I will be alone, and on my own. Scary thought, but God will provide the way and I will be OK. I am having a extreme case of being HOMESICK right now though, I am so ready to go home with my girls and my husband and start our lives together. I won't whine this whole post I promise and I am not miserable here or anything like that but there really is no place like home. Also Andrew left this more and should be arriving in DC in the next hour to hour and a half and with only a short layover before heading to Nashville. So he is now really gone. Before he was atleast still in Ukraine now he is gone, I think that is making it harder for me today too. However, we have 4 of the 10 days down 6 more to go and we can start the paperwork for us to be able to come home. Please just be in prayer for things to go smoothly and be able to leave soon and bring our girls home.

Today's visit with the girls was good. It was short, but good. I love going in every morning and seeing the excitement on their faces that I am there. Johannah is normally ready when I get there, but they normally have to get Ellee dressed and she is so funny. She wiggles, and giggles, and one of the things we have been doing since we first met them was blowing kisses at them and Ellee does it contently. She is funny. The caretaker will be trying to get her dressed and she turns around to blow me kisses. When she sits on the potty she blows kisses. She also kisses her hand and then sticks it to your mouth to kiss it. Love Love Love these moments. Today Johannah snuggled with me. Something they never do, not because I think they don't want to, but because they are two very busy little girls lol :) Have I told you all that I am in LOVE!!! Love my girls!!!

I was able to get a few more pictures today, because I bought this string/block set the other day. They take and put these different blocks on shoestring. It is an activity that helps with fine motor skills. Ellee and Johannah both will sit for 30+ minutes stringing the beads on, and then they take them off, and put them back in the container and then they try snap the lid on but it actually screws on. and then they shake the container, because it makes that really cool noise lol and then the process starts over again.

Now onto the pictures :)

Sorry you are feeling homesick. You will be home with your girls and reunited w/your hubby soon. It seems like it is so long, but once you are home it will seem like it flew by.
Did I mention your girls are beautiful :)

Oh my gosh - they are sooo cute! I hope your time flies by and you are home before you know it. That would be hard without your hubby there - praying for you and your girls. :-)
