Ellee's ear appointment at the specialist

We took Ellee to her specialist appointment and he confirmed that she is going to have to do surgery. Her surgery is scheduled for November 9th. The surgeon told us today that she has cysts growing on her left ear drum which is what is causing all the trouble, along with the hole in her ear, so the surgery is very necessary. Plus the other plus sides are it will help her with her speech, and she will be able to hear out of her left ear.
After her appointment we headed to The CheeseCake factory to meet up with my friend Emily and her 2 cuties. We had a blast and had a great visit. Emily went out of her way to help us to get the girls home, and today was the first time she got to meet the girls, so it was an extra special visit. ( I snagged some pics off her blog for you all to see shh don't tell her lol)

Buddy Walk Bowling Green

We went to the Buddy Walk in Bowling Green and set up a table for Reece's Rainbow. We handed out a lot of information, was able to answer a lot of questions, and was able to put a few people's minds to rest that adoption is impossible. Nothing is impossible with God! The girls did fantastic and were super cute lol (ok maybe i'm partial) We weren't planning on walking because we do the walk in Nashville but decided to go ahead an walk. While we were lining up a news lady came up and asked Andrew if she could ask us a few questions. He said yes and then told me she wanted to ask us a few question such a guy lol so we were interviewed for the local news station. Of course now I am going over in my mind other things that I would have like to have said, but they edited what I said anyways so it really wouldn't have mattered what I said :( There was a pony there and the girls got to sit on their very first pony. Johannah loved it, Ellee wasn't so sure about it but she did sit on him, she did pet him and she didn't scream so those were all pluses and a lot further than she was 6 months ago. All together it was a great day and they raise 35,600 dollars 600 more than they raised last year.

Sorry the pics are out of order but for some reason it won't let me change them :(

Happy Birthday Ellee and Happy 6 month home anniversary for us today :)

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Angel Ellee. Ellee is 6 today and we are so happy to be able to share in her birthday with her this year. Could you imagine going your whole life without even knowing there is a special day that belongs to you. That is what Ellee had to go through for the first 5 years of her life, but not this year. This year she has a family, a home, all the love in the world and a party that is going to be great (but she has to wait until tomorrow for that) :)

Today is also another special day we have been home for 6 months today!!! :)

Happy 6th birthday my angel Mommy Loves you!!!
