This was the girls first 4th of July at home!!! Our town does a big fireworks show on the 3rd every year so we went there last night and the girls loved the fireworks. Johannah kinda whimpered the first couple of booms but after that she was oohing and awing and they were both so excited. Today we had a small family cookout. The girls love to eat so we don't have any problems with what they eat :) After we finished eating we was going to went down to the lake, and we were going to get out and walk along the beach but there were tons of people so we decided not too, we decided to take a drive instead and see some of the countryside. We took today as a day to be thankful for all our blessings. A year ago we were preparing for our two beautiful little girls to come home, and my dad was in the hospital not doing good, and even though this year my dad is not with us I still know where he is and I am so thankful for salvation and life after death. And this year we have 2 beautiful little girls who can brighten up any room and put a smile on anyone's face!
I pray that each of you had a wonderful 4th of July! Remember to thank God for our salvation and thank the men and women who give up their lives so that we may have so many freedoms! Pray for the families who's loved one was not at the dinner table this year because they are serving a branch of the military and pray for those families who's loved one will never come home because they gave up their life for our freedom!

Too too cute!!! What a precious family :) love the little girls' 4th of July outfits. Caroline's has been hanging in her closet for almost a year waiting for her. We thought for sure she would be home by now. Tonight I watched the fireworks and wondered what she would've thought about them. Please keep praying we are allowed to bring her home.
